The actress sat down with E! News, where she was asked about the possibility of a reboot for the beloved sitcom that starred her and her real-life twin sister, Tia Mowry.“I still say I would do it,” she said. “I just can’t believe we are still talking about this, and we’re not actually shooting it.” This half of the sister duo later compared the possible reboot to the Sex and the City reboot, “you know how long it took for that to come back? That might be the truth for Sister, Sister, but it has to be right.” She went on to say that if the show were to come back that she would want it to portray a grown-up version of the sisters’ lives and relationships. “I want Sister, Sister’s reboot to come back as like grown,” she said. The 44-year-old actress continued: “I want it to be sexy; I don’t want it to be just the four-camera sitcom. I want it to be something completely–completely different.” Sister, Sister debuted in 1994 and ran for six seasons before it came to an end in May 1998. The show followed the twin sisters who were separated at birth, with each being adopted by a different parent. The two ended up running into each other by chance and Tamera’s adoptive father reluctantly allowed Tia and her mother to move into his home so the girls could bond, but it turns out the only thing they shared that was similar is their identical looks.
