“I don’t want to spend the rest of my life listening to women tell me how unhappy they are,” he says in one clip. In another segment, he talks about a “fantasy” of being a monogamist as we see clips of him and Christine getting cozy. “I feel like the only adult sometimes,” he says in another moment. The pandemic also looms large, impacting every member. But, of course, there’s a lot more to it. Kody shared some spoilers with Parade.com before the season starts, and one thing is clear: It’s going to be juicy.
When does Sister Wives’ new Season premiere?
Sister Wives comes back to TLC Sunday, Feb. 14 (Valentine’s Day!) at 10 p.m.
What time does Sister Wives come on?
It will be on every Sunday at 10 p.m.
Is there Sister Wives trailer?
Yup! TLC released it in late January. In it, Kody airs his grievances, and the wives air theirs. They’re still struggling with real estate issues and Robyn says at one point that it feels like the Browns are “four separate families.”
Where do the Browns live right now?
They’re still in Flagstaff, Arizona, although they haven’t really made friends there yet. “Before COVID arrived, I spent most of my time moving,” Kody says. “As a result we have not been social enough to get involved with the Flagstaff community.” But, Kody says, the “current consensus” of the family is that they like Flagstaff.
Are the Browns living together or separately?
The family’s separate homes was a big issue last season and, unfortunately, it hasn’t been resolved. “We are still living separately,” Kody says. “Much work needs to be done before we build our homes next to each other again.” The families aren’t interacting as much as they have in the past. “COVID-19 has made it so that the only person interacting with family was me,” Kody says. “We had to make special rules to keep from acquiring the virus or spreading it.”
How has the pandemic impacted the Sister Wives cast?
It hasn’t been easy on them. “COVID has been hard on our relationships,” Kody says, adding that it’s “especially hard” for the kids “as they have not been able to see each other as much with quarantines, social distancing and so on.” Kody says that he’s been “surprised” that the family “didn’t have the emotional tools to deal better with COVID-19.” He continued, “The isolation was very challenging. The length of time that we have been in the pandemic seems like an eternity.” Kody says that he’s had “more time” at each house that “isn’t under COVID lockdown,” noting that Janelle was under quarantine for a bit. “At one point, I spent almost an entire month at Christine’s house while Janelle was under quarantine,” he says. “So we did some home improvement at Christine’s and Robyn’s houses.”
How are the Sister Wives stars getting along?
They’re struggling a bit. “Due to COVID, we have been unable to be together as much,” Kody says. “That tends to cause some worry and suspicion in relationships because of the isolation.” Kody also says the family has had holidays and birthdays all year without the entire family getting together. “COVID-19 has been the cause of much loneliness and drama,” he says.
Is Mariah Brown married yet?
Mariah’s engagement to her girlfriend Audrey was a big plotline last season, and the couple is still trying to figure out when to get married. “Mariah and Audrey look at wedding venues just as the pandemic rolls out,” Kody says.
Are Kody and Meri still married?
Yes, but they’re not doing great. “Kody and Meri’s relationship is really sad,” Robyn says in the trailer. “I can’t. I can’t make him love me,” Meri says, before she jokes with Kody about whether he would actually let her kiss him. “Romance and sex are saved for people who are in love,” he says in another clip. “If Meri and I really wanted to be together, we would.”
Is Kody Brown dating anyone new?
Kody says that “no new people get involved” this season, but adds this: “We do however get news of a new baby coming into the family.”
There is plenty of drama on the new season of Sister Wives!
And it largely involves Kody and the wives. “The majority of drama is just local family debating how we handle the pandemic and relationships at the same time,” he says. Next, find out about the most underrated dating shows.
