Harry (Rawiri Jobe) brings another interesting case to the so-called “retired” detective, Alexa (Lucy Lawless). A reimagining of “Little Red Riding Hood” goes horribly wrong when the lead actor dies onstage. As with any whodunnit, there’s no shortage of suspects, particularly as the married victim was having an affair with his leading lady. As Alexa goes to investigate the murder, Madison (Ebony Vagulans), who loves slam poetry and fringe festivals, tags along to help. Complications arise for Alexa when she discovers the wife of the murder victim is her childhood neighbor, Eleanor (Sara Wiseman). Fun fact: Wiseman got her start in acting as “Young Woman” on Xena: Warrior Princess!
