In a hilarious new video shared on social media, Shepard, 47, admitted that the first time he saw his family’s 2022 Christmas tree, it scared the life out of him. He went as far as saying that the tree “destroyed Newtonian physics as [he] knew it,” which says a lot about how seriously Bell, 42, took this year’s assignment. In the Instagram video originally shared by Shepard on Dec. 11, the actor gave fans a glimpse of the Christmas tree that “scared the shit” out of the father of two. And if we’re being honest, we have no idea what had him so fearful. As shown by the video, Bell meticulously crafted a one-of-a-kind Christmas tree that even Dr. Seuss would be proud of. The massive tree was decked out with colorful lights, lots of ornaments, candy cane fixtures, bows, and the man of the hour himself–the Grinch! Bell even managed to get the top of the tree to curve, creating her own “grump tree” inspired by the festive green fella. After Shepard retired from his temporary position as Cindy Lou Who, he didn’t discount his wife’s efforts. Instead, he applauded them. “Some people are playing on Xmas. Not @kristenanniebell She’s here to kick ass and drink beer, and unfortunately for her Christmas competitors, she’s appears to be all out of beer,” he joked in the caption. Bell later re-shared the hilarious clip on her own Instagram page along with the caption, “When you make something crafty and it fools your whole family, THATS a Christmas miracle.” Fans, unlike Shepard, were immediately impressed–some even offered Bell a new title. “I’m so obsessed and enamored with this achievement! You are MRS CLAUS!!!!!” exclaimed former O.C. star Rachel Bilson. “This is Kristen’s world, and we’re simply living in it 😍👏🏻,” another fan joked. Someone even offered her an idea for how to really scare Shepard, writing, “I really thought you were going to pop out of the tree as the grinch lol.” And to that, we say there’s always next year!
