The 42-year-old reality TV star traded in her platinum blonde locks for something a bit warmer–and it’s giving honey caramel deliciousness. The mother of four shared two new photos on Instagram earlier today, where she officially debuted her updated look just in time for the holidays. We say “officially” because The Kardashians star had previously been photographed with the gold-toned hair while attending Art Basel in Miami (see image below). In the photos posted to social media, Kardashian sported a very casual look–what some would call “athleisure”–she paired a charcoal gray sleeveless crop top with Martine Rose Men’s Sponsor Trousers in Navy/Blue mid-rise straight-fit joggers. But despite the everyday nature, there’s no casual price tag to be found–the pants, alone, typically retail for over $1,000. Also posing for the quick snap was NYC-based makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic–who is also the mastermind behind @makeupbymario and Kardashian’s ultra-glam makeup in the photo–and the man responsible for transforming Kardashian from a cool, icy blonde to the honey variation we see today, her hairstylist, Chris Appleton. Fellow socialites immediately ran to the comments to compliment the new color. Her childhood best friend, Allison Statter, led the pack, writing, “You know how much I love this color on you!!! 🍯🍯🍯🍯♥️♥️♥️♥️.” Dedivanovic complimented his own work with a few emojis, “😍😍❤️,” as did Appleton, who wrote, “Beautiful 🍯🫶🏻.” Fans, however, didn’t care much about her new look. Instead, they flooded her post with comments about the TV personality’s partnership with fashion brand Balenciaga after the company faced backlash for its since-removed but highly controversial advertisement that featured children posing with inappropriate items. “It’s giving she thinks we’re all going to let this go,” one user stated. “We haven’t forgotten,” another wrote. Dozens of variations of “#KancelKimKardashian” and “BA LEN CI AGA we won’t forget” could also be found scattered throughout the comments. While Kardashian has condemned the company’s latest ad campaign, she has not confirmed or denied severing ties with the brand.
