Both future queens looked cozy and chic, with Kate in a grey coat dress by Catherine Walker and Mary in a white dress paired with a black turtleneck. Kate also paid tribute to her host country by wearing a pair of pearl earrings by Maria Black, a jewelry designer based in Copenhagen. Earlier today Kate was welcomed to Christian IX’s palace by Mary and her mother-in-law Queen Margrethe II. Denmark’s queen celebrates her golden jubilee this year (5o years on the throne) while Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II is currently celebrating her platinum jubilee year having served as monarch for 70 years. Kate and Mary together visited a shelter for women and children who have experienced domestic violence, which is supported by Mary’s charitable foundation. When she arrived in Denmark yesterday, the duchess emerged wearing the colors of her host country’s flag: a red blazer by Zara (featuring the big gold buttons that Kate is so very fond of) with a frilly white blouse. A visit to Stenurten Forest Kindergarten saw Kate change into skinny jeans, a white polo neck jumper and her green Seeland wax jacket. A caption on Instagram explained that the kindergarten “uses the power of nature and the outdoors to help build children’s self-awareness, strengthen relationships with others and understand their value in society.” Next up, Prince Harry Tells the UK’s High Court He ‘Does Not Feel Safe’ Bringing Archie and Lili to his Home Country
