Recently, the actress announced that she is expecting a fourth child with her husband, Ryan Reynolds. While this should be a time for celebrating (and relaxing), it looks like the paparazzi and publications have irritated Lively with their earnest attempts to get a photo of the actress with her kids. In response, the 35-year-old took to Instagram to share an important message alongside a handful of beautiful snaps. The Sept. 17 post consisted of pictures of Lively showing off her pregnant belly in trendy bathing suits and sweet moments with friends, including one with pal Taylor Swift. In the caption, Lively wrote, “Here are photos of me pregnant in real life so the 11 guys waiting outside my home for a 🦄 sighting will leave me alone.” She added that the photographers “freak me and my kids out.” Lively has three daughters with Reynolds; James, 7; Inez, 5; and Betty, 2. Like many other celebrities, she has done her best to shield her kids from the public eye–and has been quite successful, as very few photos of her and Reynolds’ kids have surfaced online. Along with her statement about the paparazzi, Lively also called out the publications that publish photos of celebrities’ children without permission. “Thanks to everyone else for all the love and respect and for continuing to unfollow accounts and publications who share photos of children. You have all the power against them. And thank you to the media who have a ‘No Kids Policy’. You all make all the difference 🙏♥️. Much love! Xxb [sic].” This isn’t the actress’s first speech about this issue. In the summer of 2021, Lively commented on a now-deleted Daily Mail Australia post, describing her family’s “frightening” experience with paparazzi following her with the kids, as per PEOPLE. She asked the publication to “listen to your followers. They too understand this is dark and upsetting that you pay people to stalk children.
