Sprite Changes Bottle Color In Environmentally Friendly Move
Coca-Cola announced on Wednesday, July 27th, that the green bottles would be drained of their color beginning August 1st. In an effort to be more environmentally friendly, the brand is discontinuing the use of plastic containing green polyethylene terephthalate (PET), which is an additive that can’t be recycled into new bottles.
